About the Role
We are looking for a seasoned Presales Consultant – Cybersecurity with 5–8 years of experience to join our growing team. In this role, you will act as the technical expert and trusted advisor for our clients, supporting the sales process with tailored cybersecurity solutions, demos, proposals, and proof-of-concepts. You’ll work closely with sales, product, and engineering teams to address complex security challenges across industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with prospects and clients to understand their cybersecurity challenges, risk posture, and regulatory requirements.
- Design and present cybersecurity solutions tailored to customer needs, including network security, endpoint protection, cloud security, identity & access management, and threat detection.
- Deliver engaging technical demos, proof-of-concepts (PoCs), and workshops to showcase product capabilities.
- Collaborate with the sales team to qualify opportunities and shape solution strategies.
- Respond to RFPs, RFIs, and other bid documents with detailed technical responses.
- Develop architecture diagrams, technical presentations, and solution documentation.
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in client meetings and industry events.
- Stay current with the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies.
- Provide feedback to product and engineering teams to enhance the solution portfolio.
- Support enablement of internal sales and marketing teams with technical training and collateral.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in cybersecurity presales, solution consulting, or technical sales engineering.
- Solid understanding of cybersecurity domains such as:
- Network security (firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, etc.)
- Cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP security tools)
- Endpoint protection (EDR/XDR)
- SIEM/SOAR platforms
- IAM and PAM solutions
- Threat intelligence and incident response
- Experience with security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, MITRE ATT&CK, CIS Controls).
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage technical and business stakeholders.
- Ability to create customized solution proposals, architecture diagrams, and demo scripts.
